Korean Air says chairman Cho Yang-ho has died of Disorder
Korean Air says Cho Yang-ho, its chairman, has expired in the USA due to an unspecified illness.
His departure follows a shareholder vote to remove the 70-year-old in the board over a succession of scandals surrounding the judgment family of the company.
No details were provided by the business on its statement Monday. Cho had remained chairman, which is a non-board function , even after shareholders ousted him and that he also expressed his intent to keep on engaging in direction.
Cho has been indicted on multiple charges, including embezzlement and tax evasion.
